HOW WE WORK
Some of our clients just want us to produce only one part of their itinerary. One excursion, one museum, one restaurant reservation, one airport transfer. Others ask us to make a detailed hour tot hour itinerary for the whole trip.
When you ask us to work out (part of) your itinerary, we will make an initial itinerary proposal. By that, you can decide which elements you want us to skip, add, or change. Then we make a second version of the proposal, and if necessary, a third, fourth, etc, until you confirm that everything meets your expectations. From here PAUKA TOURS starts making the reservations, purchasing tickets, booking colleague guides, transportation etc.
Prices are always on the itinerary proposal(s) you get from us. There are no obligations on your side before your confirmation.

The conditions hereunder are applicable to the activities that take place under the trade name PAUKA TOURS, registered with the Chamber of Commerce in The Netherlands, number KvK-57364621. Unless stated otherwise, these general conditions are not applicable to activities that take place under other trade names (Pauka Projecten, STAAG) of the same company.
The conditions hereunder are applicable to arrangements agreed between PAUKA TOURS, the client, and the participant of a tour or other activity in the frame of the agreed arrangement.
Client: The one who enters into an agreement with, contracts, or places an order with PAUKA TOURS concerning the delivery of services or products by PAUKA TOURS.
Participant: The one who participates in an activity provided by PAUKA TOURS.
These conditions will apply to agreements between PAUKA TOURS and the client, in so far as the parties have not expressly deviated in writing from these conditions. The applicability of the client’s conditions is expressly excluded. Each agreement between PAUKA TOURS and the client and the participant will be governed by Dutch law. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and any Dutch language version of this publication, the Dutch language version shall prevail.
PAUKA TOURS provides tours and other services related to tour operation, tourism, education, and leisure. PAUKA TOURS and its employees, agents, representatives, and contractors of PAUKA TOURS accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may occur in the course of a tour or any other activity. This includes incidents that may occur as a result of certain risks during the course of an activity, regardless of the way of transportation to, from, or during the tour or activity. PAUKA TOURS may also utilize various independent suppliers that provide food, accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this tour or activity. PAUKA TOURS and its respective employees, agents, representatives, and contractors accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing these services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages, or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws, or any other cause, explicitly including epidemics and pandemics. PAUKA TOURS is not responsible for any belongings or personal effects of any individual or company. Participants are individually responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, that will cover expenses associated with belongings or personal effects.
By entering into an agreement PAUKA TOURS commits itself to the implementation of the requested service, but PAUKA TOURS cannot be held accountable for an unsatisfactory outcome.
The agreement is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. When a planned service is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, PAUKA TOURS will try to offer a substitute service, within reasonable limits.
4 OUR INFORMATION AND OUR WEBSITE
PAUKA TOURS has made every attempt to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information. Nevertheless, PAUKA TOURS cannot guarantee the total accuracy and precision of the information. PAUKA TOURS does not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, or reliability of the information contained on the internet, social media, or published otherwise, e.g. by print, written or spoken word, or by any other channel of communication. The purpose of program descriptions is to give an impression of the activity, not to indicate exactly what the course will be.
Except for reservations within a very short period, PAUKA TOURS will send the client an invoice with a designated payment period. Regardless of the payment period designated on the invoice, the amount must be received by PAUKA TOURS prior to the (first day of) execution of the activity. If payment is not received by the agreed time of the service, PAUKA TOURS is not obliged to provide the service. This situation does not release the customer from the payment obligation. If at a start of a service, it appears there are more participants than the agreed number, PAUKA TOURS is entitled to refuse the extra participants, to refuse the service without any reimbursement, or to decide that the extra participants must pay the outstanding amount in cash prior to the commencement of the activity.
Mode of payment: Transfer (Bank wire), unless otherwise agreed upon. On foreign and domestic payments, the costs of the transfer are payable by the client. PAUKA TOURS will usually add a surcharge of 5% administration costs, with a minimum of 25 euro.
6 CANCELATION CAUSED BY THE CLIENT
Fees listed below will apply in case of cancelation by the client or participant:
Until 31 days prior to the first day of the agreed activity or delivery:
100 % of the costs of agreed reservations, tickets, and other costs of obligations that Pauka Tours has entered into in the context of the canceled agreement.
25% of other elements of the agreement.
Cost of money transfer and administrative costs with a minimum of € 50,-
30 days or less prior to the first day of the agreed activity or delivery and in case of failure to appear (‘no show’) of the participant:
100% of the agreed total costs.
At any time PAUKA TOURS can decide to cancel the agreement due to any circumstances caused by the client or participant. In this event, PAUKA TOURS is entitled to decide not to write-off or reimburse the agreed or paid amount.
7 CANCELATION CAUSED BY PAUKA TOURS
PAUKA TOURS is authorized to terminate the agreement, because of significant circumstances at the side of PAUKA TOURS, or partners of PAUKA TOURS, making it unreasonable to continue the agreement. In this event, PAUKA TOURS will try to offer an alternative. If alternative arrangements cannot be found within a reasonable period, payments for not executed activities by PAUKA TOURS will be reimbursed within one month.
8 CANCELATION CAUSED BY EXTERNAL CONDITIONS
Cancellation of a service related to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws, an epidemic, a pandemic, or any other external cause due to circumstances beyond the control of PAUKA TOURS is at the discretion of PAUKA TOURS. In this case, PAUKA TOURS will try within reasonable terms, to offer an alternative. In case of cancelation caused by external conditions, it is to the discretion of PAUKA TOURS to decide if paid fees will be reimbursed or not.
